Kalayani University Distance Education
The DODL or Kalayani
University Distance Education was founded with the aim of
providing higher education to persons who for one reason or unable
to complete their education due to some reasons. Those candidates can study
under formal programs or regular full time programs at this university. The
university is located in West Bengal.

To get admission in
any of the above courses, one must have Spl. Hons. / Hons. / General Graduate
degree/ (10+2+3) with qualifying marks in the relevant subject carrying the
total number of at least 300 marks/
Or
Applicants who have
completed a Graduate (10+2+2) with a one-year bridge course in a relevant
subject can also be eligible to apply.
Admission Process of
Kalayani University Distance Education
Applicants can either
fill out their application form offline or online mode. For online mode,
candidates need to visit the website and fill out their application form by
following the required steps.
Steps to fill the
application form through the online mode
Go to the Kalyani
University’s website
Applicants need to do
their registration, for registration you need to click on Create a new account
Enter your name,
parent name, email address, and mobile number
Once the registration
process is completed then click on the login button and enter your user name
and password
Go to the menu option
and click on the new admission link
Choose the application
for the new program option
Fill out your
application form by entering the correct details
For Offline mode
Application forms can
be collected either from the university’s Distribution Centre or from any DODL
office. Applicants need to pay Rs.150.00 to purchase their application form.
Students who seek to get admission should collect the Information Brochure –
cum – Application forms from the study centers
Applicants are
required to deposit their application fees as prescribed for admission through
the SBI Power Jyoti Scheme as furnished below :
Fill the application
form with a blue or black ball pen
Make sure, no field
will be empty otherwise your form can be rejected
Attach all the
required documents like all previous year’s mark sheets from 10th to Graduate
level, Address Proof, ID Proof, Photographs, Migration and Character
Certificate, etc.
Fill out the four
copies Challan Form ( as enclosed with the Information Brochure) meant for SBI
Power Jyoti Account.
Deposit the fees for
admission through the said challan at the nearest branch of the State Bank of
India which has a Core Banking System ( CBS ) facility.
